Yakima Co Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating the shooting death of a 33-year-old Selah woman.  The woman was in her home in the 300 block of S Wenas Rd when she was struck by a bullet.  The victim, Vonda Willis-Jean, was transported to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital and died shortly thereafter.

Detectives are investigating the incident as a possible accident.  A 17-year-old male was in the home with the victim at the time of the shooting.
