YAKIMA – Yakima County Commissioners are inviting applications from interested citizens wishing to serve on the following volunteer board in Yakima County.

The Yakima County Board of Equalization: Is an independent board of Commissioner Appointed members created to hear property tax appeals on Assessor's determination of assessed valuations and to equalize property. Members should have some knowledge of property values and may not be an elected official or employed by an elected official. The current Board consists of five citizen volunteers who serve 3-year terms.

Applications for these positions will be accepted until Wednesday, April 26, 2019, by 4 p.m. in the Board of Yakima County Commissioners Office (Room 232).
