Returns to the Courthouse 4th Floor
Effective Friday, January 26
YAKIMA - Effective Friday, January 26, Public Services Building, Planning, Code Enforcement, and other customer-facing operations will reopen to the public on the fourth floor of the Yakima County Courthouse. These operations were temporarily relocated to the Courthouse first floor while the fourth floor underwent a remodel.
Office Closure January 24 & 25. To prepare for the 4th Floor reopening, the Public Services office will be closed to the public Wednesday, January 24, and Thursday, January 25. No permitting activity will take place during these two days. Customers are encouraged to submit applications or check permit status online at the Accela Customer Portal yakimacountypermits.us or via email Buildinginfo@co.yakima.wa.us and Planning_info@co.yakima.wa.us. Messages may be left at 509-574-2300 and will be returned Friday, January 26.
Several divisions of Public Services, including Accounting, Water Resources and Utilities, and the County Roads Department, will return to the Courthouse fourth floor next month.
Office hours will remain 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
