On September 2nd, 2025, westbound I-82 traffic wishing to use Exit 26 onto E Selah Road may be temporarily detoured. The anticipated duration of the detour is approximately 6 hours, beginning after 10:00 AM to allow morning rideshare traffic to clear.
Message boards will be placed five days in advance by WSDOT to notify the public, and coordination has already begun with the nearby Training Center. A 2-day window has been requested by WSDOT as a contingency, though the actual closure is expected to last only one day
