Yakima County COVID-19 Testing Sites
GENERAL TESTING INFORMATION
People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness.
Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms or combinations of symptoms may have COVID-19:
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fever
- Chills
- Repeated shaking with chills
- Muscle pain
- Headache
- Sore throat
- New loss of taste or smell
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
WHEN TO GET TESTED
If you are experiencing the symptoms listed above, call your primary care provider for testing. If you don’t have a primary care provider you can call 2-1-1 or obtain testing at one of the locations below for screening and possible COVID-19 testing.
If you have been potentially exposed to COVID-19 but do not have symptoms, it is best to get tested at least 5 days after the potential exposure.

Test Results
You can access your results online with in 2-5 days by going to https://securelink.labmed.uw.edu/ and typing in your Date of Birth and retrieval code, given at the time of testing. If you are unable to retrieve your results online call (509) 225-2088 to speak with a member of our team.
Due to statewide lab delays, patients can expect a phone call with their results in 6 days. If there is no call received within 6 days patients who get tested at the community-based testing sites can call (509) 225-2088.
