Responsibilities

The Yakima County Noxious Weed Board is authorized to hire employees, assign duties, offer suggestions, and develop a program to comply with Yakima County policy and Washington State Noxious Weed laws. RCW 17.10 and WAC 16-750

The Board meets Quarterly and holds an Annual Public Landowner Hearing when adopting the annual noxious weed list and control policy.
