If you would like to submit a request for Yakima County Sheriff’s Office records, please use our online Public Records Portal                        

When making your request, please be as specific as possible so that we may conduct a thorough and accurate search.  There may be up to a 5 business day wait for a response to your request and, dependent upon the record(s) requested, that response may contain a projected date for processing your request.   If the record you seek is a traffic collision report for insurance purposes, you may wish to pursue obtaining the completed police traffic collision report form via LexisNexis Police Reports to avoid the wait time you may encounter with a public records request.
