| Every 3rd Saturday of the Month | Repair Cafe | Repair Cafe Yakima is an organization of volunteers who meet each month to repair things brought in by area residents, with the repairs done without charge. The items, repaired for free, can range from small appliances, lamps, electronics, bicycles, holes in jeans pockets, broken jacket zippers, jewelry, clocks, chairs... whatever can be carried in. Our goals are to teach residents that this doesn't haven't to be a "throw-away" society, and to save them money otherwise used to buy a replacement. Also, Repair Cafe Yakima is always looking for volunteers... people who can repair, greet the public, or help plan for the organization's future.
