Data for RSV and influenza is provided mostly by MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital, Astria Toppenish Hospital, and Astria Sunnyside Hospital. We do not include private provider testing results therefore, this may not be an accurate representation of the total number of cases in our county.
Surveillance data are updated weekly once data for each Center for Disease Control (CDC) week are received from all participating facilities. Below is the most-up-to date surveillance data, based on completed weekly reporting. To minimize impact on our voluntary reporting facilities, Yakima Health District typically only tracks RSV and flu data during peak activity seasons - from October through April.
